Nio by Xerjoff is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Nio was launched in 2009. Top notes are Bergamot, Green Notes and Neroli; middle notes are Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Jasmine and Nutmeg; base notes are Vetyver, Virginia Cedar, Guaiac Wood, Amber and Patchouli. In the late 19th century, the Nio meteorite was seen falling to earth in Yoshiki, Japan, leaving fragments scattered across a bamboo grove. Part of the Shooting Stars collection, Nio takes its name from this meteorite.The green and woody elements of Nio's character recall the site of its discovery, while Japan's storied history of cultivating citrus fruits comes through in ithe perfume's zesty freshness.This aromatic infusion of Mediterranean citrus and spice is an olfactory experience to behold. Green leaves and Haitian vetiver blend majestically with the opening notes and add an earthy quality to the composition, with warming woody notes at the base.
