Ardent by Boadicea the Victorious is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. Ardent was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Christian Provenzano. Top notes are Turkish Rose, Saffron, Coriander and Carrot Seeds; middle notes are Rose, Beeswax, Jasmine and Hedione; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli, Agarwood (Oud), Benzoin, Amber, Labdanum and Musk.  

As the name suggests, Ardent is a passionate, glowing perfume, with cindered roses and molten beeswax at its heart. Powdered roses meet storm-lashed roses and saffron. The touch of carrot and coriander in the top notes hint at a green salted iris. Ardent feels like a night rose, smouldering and voluptuous with hedione soaked jasmine imparting a sparkling whoosh of nostalgia to the longevity of the heart. It smells like a love poem, so much romance in the surging base blend of Boadicea the Victorious’ signature oud mixed with musky amber, patchouli and orchidaceous vanilla. Benzoin has a resinous aroma of honeyed almonds, air-dried tobacco and just a hint of clove. Mixed with labdanum, an earthy dirty-sweet herbaceous material extracted from a shrubby rockrose, the two notes further exalt the daring excess of roses and wax in the seductive heart of Ardent.
